Residents are evacuating their homes as crews battle a wildfire near Snowbasin Resort and Pineview Reservoir.
The Weber County Sheriff’s Office reports the fire is burning near 5200 Old Snowbasin Road in the Art Nord area of Huntsville. Crews at the Weber Fire District responded to calls of a grass fire Saturday around 4:30 p.m.
Deputies of the sheriff’s office are evacuating homes in the area, officials say. The cause of the fire, acreage and containment levels, as well as information on which specific areas are threatened, has not yet been provided.
