There are many not paying property taxes. Nonprofits do not pay property taxes, and many nonprofits pay their executives huge salaries. Take, for example, the president and CEO of the American Red Cross, Gail McGovern, who gets $500,000 a year. Maybe these executives could live on a little less, so their organization could pay its share of property tax.
Then there are religious organizations that are exempt from property tax on their churches, temples and synagogues.
Most religions and cults could easily pay their share of property tax.
Wouldn't it be wonderful if everyone paid their share?
