About 100 people gathered at the Utah Capitol on Sunday for the Mother’s Day March, billed as a community event supporting women’s rights.

A group called the Utah Alliance Coalition organized the event, with flyers describing it as “a pleasant walk with friends in a beautiful location, not a protest or rally.”

But much of the focus was on abortion rights, with signs and chants decrying the U.S. Supreme Court’s move toward overturning the landmark Roe v. Wade decision of 1973, which granted abortion rights to women.

A leaked draft of the court’s deliberations in a related case suggests that justices plan to overturn Roe v. Wade.
