To include Burgess Owens among candidates for the Salt Lake Tribune’s Utahn of the Year is laughable and cheapens the honor of the other candidates for the award. What has he done for Utah and Utahns up to this point? Won an election in a heavily gerrymandered congressional district? Appeared on a few talk shows? Shamefully (and singularly) claimed that Utah’s voting was fraudulent?
